Revival first timer
Discussion
The wife's booked us tickets this year, which should make for a decent wedding anniversary that day.
This may be a dumb question, but how essential are grandstand tickets? I assume we'll need them as most of the action will be viewable from the stands?
Meanwhile if anyone has any other suggestions for a Revival newbie I'd be grateful to know them.
Many thanks!

It depends on how much you want to spend and if you are going to watch the racing or look at the other attractions. If you go on a Friday you can get a roving ticket into the grandstand, good place to have a rest, have lunch and watch the cars also good if you can see one of the TV screens. But would suggest getting there as early as possible especially if it is your first time there as it takes time to work out where everything is as these is so much to see, some of the is very subtle eg last year early in the morning you could walk across the track and they had a period group workmen with tent pretending to repair the track.
