Question please...
Would it be possible/feasible/doable to reverse the route & run the event down the hill rather than up the hill?
As much as I enjoy the event I sometimes find it a little tedious watching the cars go up the same route every year.
Just wondered whether it would be fun to run an FoS down the hill one year.
Not slagging the FoS in an way as I think it is a superb event.

Why, in your opinion, is it a silly question?

It's one of the most intriguing tracks around where any vehicle regardless of wheel number power fuel type vehicle age etc anything goes - kind of like a run what you brung setup.
Today I saw a world speed record car which only had 200bhp originally and hit 122mph some 120years ago go up the hill in under 70 seconds...... And if dare say plenty of mountain push bikes have wider rubber. That destroys times of hugely impressive massively more modern stuff. Not my sort of car but never the less as a car enthusiast I though that was epic.
