Mad Max Cars on Display - help!
Discussion
Hi all,
Two cars from Mad Max: Fury Road are on display this year at Goodwood. A group of us in the US are working on replicating his dash ornament, but there is precious little quality reference. If anyone is willing/able to take good, clear photos of the bobblehead bird in Nux's silver Chevy, let me know and we'll discuss details. Thank you.

Awesome guys - thanks so much.
The bird's beak is broken now, unfortunately, but that's fine.
I'm hoping to see close ups of the driver's side of the head, especially the piece that makes up the eye. The passenger side eye is a big nut, and the driver's is - something else yet unidentified.
Also, the interior of the mouth and if somebody could possibly get a good back of the head view from outside the vehicle that would be great too.
The more pics and the more angles the better - as far as I'm concerned there's no such thing as 'overboard'! It's a good thing it's not me going. People would be lined up outside getting angry at the crazy guy doing a photoshoot of the bird.
Another excellent option would be if your camera has a video mode, a simple slow orbit around the piece would be efficient - only concern is focus on that one.
You guys are the best, really - thanks.

darrgh impasse, you tease...
A plane, hotels, and a rental car, managing to find a ticket in... would be fun though! I had never even heard of this show until yesterday! Thanks for considering it.
At past events the car has always been unlocked for people to sit inside and explore, or the window at least rolled down. Hopefully that is still the case.

Cool stuff Jon - thank you for thinking of it! So many cool little props in that vehicle. It's a shame the production didn't get more of them into the movie. Looks like you got some nice shots of the steering wheel too, I know there are some people who are looking for good reference for that as well.
The hunt continues! Such elusive pics of the driver's side of the bobble...

Nice, PHomer!
Were these downsized for Thumbsnap, or is 640 480 the full resolution? Good angles, top view is new!
Looks like some rain, thats a shame - is this Saturday or today?
This was earlier today - just a very quick shower, nothing to drastic! I'll email you the pics via email as well mate. Were these downsized for Thumbsnap, or is 640 480 the full resolution? Good angles, top view is new!

Great driver side view Dand E Lion!
I hope you'll email me in case you have any higher resolution versions and so I can grab your info.
I especially appreciate the flash photo that highlights the streak in the eye. Quite the revelation that it looks like a marble, I had only seen one pic before this that had any indication of anything besides a matte black ball. Now, finding one of said marbles...
johnoz, countachman, any luck on your end?
Thanks again!
