Good wood FOS. Parking
Discussion
Well...
I did it two years ago. I had a 3 day pass.
All I can say the road ( if you can call it that ) - was just grit and sand. Driving through it was like a scene from Mad Max.
If a car came the other way - the dust cloud meant that you couldn't see the road for 30 seconds.
I swear the air filter needing replacing early because of it.
You are just parked in a field, with a few nice cars - and an awful lot of cars that their owners think are much nicer than they really are.
If you do have something nice to take... I'd take the beater if I were you.
Edit: And you are not "as close to the action" as the sales fluff makes out.
Edit: It is roomier, and probably safer. But as above - I wouldn't take my pride and joy there.

I've not parked in the posh car park myself.
Parked in the peasants car park though, it's still full of nice cars.
I found space ok, most people park with door space.
If it's dry it's very dusty, if it's wet it can be a bit muddy, I've personally have never seen anyone stuck.
A good blast on the way home usually gets most of the dust off.

Yes, dusty field. I always take my old telco carpark car and leave the best ones at home.
The worst part is usually the queueing on the public roads to get there so can't see much advantage in parking in the special car park.
I went all 4 days last year but found the traffic so Waring I'm just doing one day this year.

As with all events. The worst part is usually the queueing on the public roads to get there so can't see much advantage in parking in the special car park.

It depends what time you arrive! if you can arrive by 7.30=8.00 you should just drive in.
Also stay till the end of the day, after 6 is always good.
I know if you live far away this is not always possible.
