Was anyone else extremely puzzled by Chris Harris being there with the beardy one out of Take That?
Also, for the record, the beardy one out of that Take That owns an utterly gorgeous matt grey 356 and an equally lovely 2.0 911 racer.
Harris is "racing" said beardy guy's car at the MM ..... Also, for the record, the beardy one out of that Take That owns an utterly gorgeous matt grey 356 and an equally lovely 2.0 911 racer.

These are a few from me. Only mobile phone pictures and short films. I have finished labelling my photos I took on my camera. I am sorting them out to what what I am uploading to Flickr.

thanks for the pics - what was the deal for getting in on the day? Is it GRRC members only? What about parking? Any catering available on the day?
I'm thinking of heading down for the test day on the 10th as we are going to the 73mm, but I've a couple of pals who might want to come to the test day and see what it's like...

I would like to know the same information as above please. Hoping to go to the Revival so would like a look at the circuit beforehand.
Thinking of going to the test on 10th March, hopefully worth a 150 mile trip?
150 mile one way ??! or return ?Thinking of going to the test on 10th March, hopefully worth a 150 mile trip?
anyway, yes, it is open to everyone, nearer the MM event though you will need to be mindful of building works / prep. for the event so don't park anywhere stupid... not sure how many cars there will be, always a bit of a lottery... the 1st test day there was about a dozen perhaps... you are fairly free to wander around pits and paddock and main straight. You can't however walk the whole track though...
There is also the wagon open which sells hot food and drink...
I know the next 73MM test day coincides with the general testing on 3rd and 4th March - can anyone confirm which day is the 73MM day?
I travel about 20 miles for it and don't stay much more than an hour or two (unless there's something really interesting).
There's a van serving coffee and £5 bacon rolls amongst other things and I'll echo the others, don't park anywhere stupid.

It is 150 mile one way but I like driving! If there are more cars next Tuesday that would help me decide although I guess no one knows what will be there the following week.
I see the Rolls Royce factory is just down the road from the circuit. Is there any public access or anything to see, a museum, exhibition hall etc?
Thanks
Steve

Steve, I drove up from Cornwall to watch the testing and stayed for 2 nights. As far as I am concerned a day spent at Goodwood is always a good day .Spent 6 hrs, watching, chatting and eating. Met Chris Harris who was testing a early 911 for the MM. I would have thought the March testing date should be busy at it is the last opportunity to set the car up and get times before the real thing later in the month. Plenty to do in West Sussex or go for a drive around the South Downs area. Some very quiet out of the way roads. Well worth the effort.
I only live just over an hours drive away from Goodwood so get there quite often.
My close friends and I always take each other out for a meal on significant birthdays and I've one coming up so have booked lunch for five at the Kennels on the 10th. None of them have been there before so I'm hoping they will enjoy it. I'm really looking forward to an hour or so at the track then a nice convivial luncheon as for a change I shall not be doing the driving.

Are we absolutely certain there'll be a good amount of 73MM cars there tomorrow?
If you look here
https://cdn.gwsrv.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/7...
It cites tomorrow as a general test day which 73MM competitors are welcome to attend.
