FOS - moving motor show 2015
Discussion
Hi guys, need some help.
I've done fos a few times but I've never done the Thursday, to save a few £'s I'm thinking of doing the Thursday so I can have a look around the paddocks, show stands etc, this then saves the Friday for track action etc.
Therefore is the Thursday worthwhile for this? And how easy is it to get a test drive in something tasty?
Thanks,

Don't know on the test drives you normally need to book with your manufacturer of choice...
OT - people of goodwood forum, would it be a good idea to start a Goodwood FAQ wiki on here ?? saves the same questions over and over again ??
Certainly recommend going Thursday, best day for going round the paddocks and seeing things being moved into place/unloaded. Not everything will be on show, but a good majority I would say. I would wait out for buying tickets right now though, as last year there was a code you could put in on the website to get you a free ticket for Thursday. Which makes the day even more appealing
On another side note, I would recommend hanging around at the end of Sunday too. You can get up close to some things other people wouldn't. I hung around the McLaren stand last year, and watched them take the 650S GT3 off the stand. They also had the Marlboro liveried F1 cars lined up, good stuff.

I have always managed to get free tickets for the MMS since it started. Not sure how but they are always well publicised.
Have also got at least one test drive on the day- aim low is the key and get there early (when the gates open if possible), last year I drove a Seat Leon Cupra and Dacia something or other.
try and book a test drive early and then wonder around the paddocks etc. whilst its empty ish
