The Goodwood Forum (GRRC)
Discussion
Apologies - I misunderstood the point you were making.
Yes, I see exactly the same as your screen shot, but below the 'The GRRC Members’ Meeting – public forum' category at the bottom of your pic, I also see five further categories prefixed 'Members Only:'.
I had assumed that these were only accessible only after a valid (member) log in?

Oh, that's even more annoying - I'll log in again, and I'll do it in Chrome. I recollect the Goodwood website doesn't like IE as the webby said it's not popular. ETA - Nah, just retied in Chrome and it's teh same, I'm logged in but can't see any of the additional sections. I give up... If anyone's on there post the question for me.

It was hard work using the forum before they started "improving" it. Now it's truly useless.
I actually thought that the Forty One Six forum was OK. The only problems I had with it were the absence of a real members only area and that the spam wasn't controlled.
Thinking back, I was also content with the original GRRC forum. It was very simple, but it more or less worked.

Indeed, thinking back the original forum was the best so far. The problem with 46.1 was that no one from Goodwood took any interest in it and with no moderation the spammers just invaded at will . I can't get in either…despite it telling me I'm already logged in! ETA - Nah, just retied in Chrome and it's teh same, I'm logged in but can't see any of the additional sections. I give up... If anyone's on there post the question for me.

Wow I really give up with the Goodwood forum, today's fun is I can see everything but click reply it does everything but bring up a box to type in!!!
So in the rare event something useful gets posted on there and someone actually chooses to continue to use the forum can they copy the post over here.
All I was trying to do was to say to IW that I just looked if what the office said to him about early renewals was correct but it isn't ive just tried online.

James, can you ask the techies to take a look at this please? I am logged on but cannot see anything other than the public sections of the forum. Thanks Rich...

Try again now.. it should be working...A quick question to those in the know I'm looking at upgrading to a family membership, is it possible? And if so what are the benefits obviously I can then purchase 4 tickets to events and get 4 paddock passes for the revival but does it also allow entry into the kennels when I am not there using the 2nd badge?

Thanks ecsrobin. Coincidentally that question is why I rang the office in the first place, and I was told you can upgrade to family membership just by selecting it at renewal time. I don't know the answer to your Kennels question though.A quick question to those in the know I'm looking at upgrading to a family membership, is it possible? ~iw (IW on GRRC when it's working)
update: I've just tried online but there doesn't seem to be the drop down box that was described to me; the only option I've been given is to renew my individual membership.
