Pre '74 / Tax Exempt Ticket Help

Argh. Last minute cock-up. I'm visiting Revival for the first time this week and had ordered a pre '74 car parking pass for my car. Because of some last minute changes within our group I had to hastily post out a spare ticket to a friend who won't be joining us until later morning on Friday and like an idiot I posted the car park ticket I need for my car, to her

I've got the printed receipt I received from Goodwood - has anyone been in a similar position before, and know whether they'll accept that and let me in? Or would it be best to just ring them tomorrow to grovel and explain the position and see if there's anything they can do?

Although I have always had a car park pass I've never been asked to show it. So as to prevent a manic traffic jam I doubt they would turn you away - provided of course your car is tax exempt.

So I wouldn't worry (do take the letter just in case!)

I agree - often not asked to show the pass, so providing you are in a suitable car, I can't see that you will have a problem (with email as a back-up).

Fantastic. Thanks. Was so angry at myself after realising my mistake but this has lowered the blood pressure somewhat

Can confirm my car is comfortably tax exempt (1967) so should not cause any raised eyebrows!

Can confirm I had no problems today. Followed the lane for car park B and was never once asked to show the ticket and indeed was even directed through to the seperate Jaguar enclosure which was pretty neat

Was a great spot for a painless exit after the end of the days racing so would definitely park there again. Thanks!
