Revival: Richmond Arms - Saturday Night?

Hi all,

Does anyone fancy meeting in the Richmond Arms on Saturday eventing? I guess 7pm onwards, for a few beers and an opportunity to chat about the day/weekend and general car stuff!

I'd be happy to join you. I'll be at the revival all 3 days but on my own Saturday and Sunday if anyone wants to join me for the day.

Great, not long now - really looking forward to it. Fingers crossed the weather holds out, it was a mixed bag last year!

Some of the best racing was in the rain last year.

Agreed but if you don't have a covered grandstand seat, without any other kind of shelter, it can get very wet out there!

I was soaked stood on top of the pitwall in a WW2 bomber jacket but it was worth it. Had a waterproof jacket aswell but lent it to a young lad with his dad who had nothing.

As there only seems to be 2 of us we could always pop along to the kennels if you want? They'll have live music aswell

It's the members club, http://www.goodwood.co.uk/kennels/kennels.aspx it's just up from the circuit slightly closer than the hotel.

Ahh, do you automatically qualify for entry with a ticket? Or do you have to be a member?

You have to be a member but I'm happy to meet you outside and with anyone else who joins us if you like and escort you in.

Heading up Friday night after work around 7pm and staying till Sunday afternoon. I'll be meeting my Dad there who is staying for the whole weekend. So, if you could get both of us in that would be smashing. I'll drop you a pm.
