Travelling to the Revival for 3 days, have been to the FOS before but never Revival.
Making a weekend of it, staying on site, 3 days, grandstand tickets (Woodcote),central paddock access but have been swithering about splashing out a bit and going to the Mess on the Saturday.
Busy day Friday, Mess on Saturday, Busy day Sunday.
Just wondering if the viewing is any better from the mess area, know it wont really be value for money but if it provides great views and gives us that extra special part for the weekend we may just go for it.
Understand that there may be no requirement as so much to see and do anyway.
Any advice (probably keep your money in your pocket) welcome.
Thanks

Sorry to make your decision for you, but The Goodwood Mess has sold out for Saturday, with a handful of tables left for Friday & few more for Sunday.

What is the Goodwood Mess? A dining area?

I'm guessing you're going as a guest of a driver because surely you can't get into the central paddock without a badge.

You can if you stump up £618 for the Goodwood Mess hospitality package.

We have central paddock badges for the 3 days, the mess was just an added extra, if we go for it.

My point was that paddock passes are only provided for members and guests plus I believe people on corporate hospitality so I guessed that's what you are on. Sorry was making the assumption you are not a GRRC member? redface

Are you referring to where the cars are parked?

Last year we just walked in and mooched around. Chap on one of the entrances asked where we thought we were going and we replied 'in there' and he let us in.

Had a chat with a few drivers whistle

All very pleasant and good to get up close to the cars........ wink

Yes the chaps on security can be a bit lax checking badges.

The question had nothing to do with paddock access, I was asking about the Goodwood mess.

No problem, just have to make decision on the mess for beginning of next week.
Looking forward to the 3 days, I am thinking that this will now be an annual trip from up north every year now.
