Really?? Don't get me wrong it was one of the nicest examples I've seen but I think there was better. My 5 year old niece turned her nose up at anything I liked and decided the alvis was the star of the show.

The T2 splitty was nice but for me the Auburn was the absolute star, it was a work of automotive art although the Maserati Birdcage wasn't far behind.

That Westfield Eleven was a pretty good copy of the Lotus original though and I'm sorely tempted, I've just downloaded the brochure and it's only 10k plus donor stuff.

Just have to say what a lovely day today, great weather, great setting, great cars and my two and a half year old grand-daughter absolutely loved the rides and entertainment, thanks very much to Lord March.

What a lovley event.

I really appreciated the wide variety of cars (Mclaren to a Metro) friendly atmosphere and of course the weather.
The Mrs and me were lucky enough to have a car selected for display and (although I have no interest normal concours events ) it was great to stand there talking about our car and all the others there.
The Auburn was amazing, I assume it has now been returned to Mr Jay Gatsby ?
My highlight was hearing the Lister Knobbly start up.

Lunch was served in the ballroom which was a nice thanks to the people bringing vehicles.

The head lights kind went on the way home, then kind of came back, usual Italian rubbish !

Breakfast club was pretty ace as well.
Good old Goodwood.

Another great day out at Goodwood

Mine was the grey 911. I thought the car of the day was either the birdcage maser or the grey Alfa. Mind you this Aston in the car park was pretty tasty too!

Cheers, to be honest I was in can't be bothered to take photos mode. I find all motoring events are too busy these days to get a photo I'm after. I do the patient waiting for 5 minutes for people to move out the way then as soon as I bend down to take a photo someone with a more expensive camera will stand on the opposite side of the car!! Thinks its a case of if your lens is bigger you have priority.

Thinking of going to salon privé and hope it's more quiet.

What car did you display and I'll take a look.

Indeed an interesting car. A 1955 DB2/4 which was fitted with a repaired front end in 1957 by the factory in the style of (but not identical to) a DB MkIII.

Can't see it in any of my photos - where was it parked / parked next to? Puzzled!

Facing the house it was on the left outer of the carriage circle. Between the green Innocenti (sp?) and the yellow Fiat taxi. The white 991 GT3 was two down.
