It was a really good day but I left after an American muscle car had what appeared to be an engine blow up and left a load of oil over about a third of the track. The stewards said it would be about an hour to clear it up and I didn't have the time to hang around. Still a great day, though.

There is always something to see at these Saywell track days.
Though there did seem to be appreciably less cars around than the last few I have attended.

Hohoho - your M5 sounded great as you accelerated out of the chicane... and then at the end of the straight you squealed the tyres to avoid rear-ending the car in front - I don't think anyone else noticed!
Thanks Unfortunately you don't hear the car but everyone comments how good it sounds as you whizz by
I was giving it some, I had a chap in the car who's thinking of buying one so what better place to show him how it goes.
The squeal was very hard braking and the wheel momentarily leaving the ground (due to a bump) and the ABS then locked it and it then it skidded slightly.
Some lovely machinery on display

I noticed that as well, perhaps we have been spoilt in the past? A few of us moaning that Peter didn't bring the Zonda, nicely illustrates the pointThough there did seem to be appreciably less cars around than the last few I have attended.
