Plod camera van on A27 between Fontwell and Tangmere. Well hidden on central reservation in the long grass, probably there every day, morning and afternoon.

Favourite spot for them whenever there is anything going on at Goodwood. Probably right about them being there all weekend. Watch out on the A283 just outside Petworth where it goes to a 30 limit - another favourite spot.

Another couple of 'fave' places for bib with speed guns is on the A286 Southbound coming into Cocking, and Singleton - they are only usually there early in the morning as the traffic builds up quite heavily by 8:30-9:00ish so you could not speed if you wanted to!!

There was a marked van on the A286 at the start of the 30 limit southbound at Cocking this morning. It was still there this evening and I could see that it's a CCTV van and didn't seem to be manned. Not sure that I want to risk any indiscretion in the morning though, just in case.

Andy, i know this is an old thread, but the grass and weeds is so long in this bit of the central reservation you can hardly see the van let a lone the van see you!

Also if you are coming south through Storrington on the way down through Amberly stick to the 30mph all the way till the national speed limit sign - they always camp just over a brow of a hill hidden in a drive way! Fortunately when i was pulled doing about 40 the copped liked the car - had a nosey and let me go!

They knocked off about 7pm this evening. Must have been a long hot day for them .....

Yep, I saw .....

If this saves one person £100, that's a good job.
