Vulcan at fos

I'd like to approach the SE environs of Goodwood at about 1100hrs, with a view to parking in a lay by and watching the Vulcan from Halnacker windmill. (About 1.5 miles from ground zero).

Am I mad to try?..

From memory the Vulcan doesnt fly "over" Goodwood but off to the West, so you might have more joy heading that way?

I would personally go on top of the Trundle and watch from there
