I am a virgin of the FOS - is there somewhere to park a vintage car, not that I am overly precious or looking for a prominent place but if I am there bloody early (hopefully 7 ish)is it possible to park more centrally?

As far as im aware every one parks together. The car parks in goodwood are great as you always see rare and exotic cars mixed in with every one elce.

All parking is in a field and you don't really get a choice. However with it being so dry recently expect to return to your car with a very nice dusting of mud if you park near the tractor route.

Yes- a layer of thick dust will greet you upon your return to the car- unless you bring a car cover of course which is what I will be doing this year!

Parking is all clearly signposted, and if you are there at 7ish OP, you should be in a reasonably good position.

You still need to factor a 15 min walk from where you park to the entrance though which gets to be a bit of a pain if you pop back to the car several times during the day!

You can pay an extrat £50 to £60 per day (except Thursday) to put your car into the Supercar Paddock - if it's on the approved list.

Details : https://ticketing.goodwood.com/Camping.html

(Don't ask me where the list actually is, I found it once and haven't been able to locate it ever since)

Now that would be cheeky but I guess a '29 Lagonda would look a little out of place next to all those Zondas

You have to book. Oh and pay the £50 or £60 for the privilege

arrived a tad after 7 on Saturday and parked 30 ft from the entrance. What a blinding day.
