Does anybody know what, if anything, will be on display on the Cricket Pitch this year, there is no mention of this on the Goodwood Website. In the past there have been land speed cars, dragsters, stars and their guitars etc. but no mention of anything this year.

Im trying to work out if they are just trying to keep everything as a big surprise this year or they just dont have much to get excited about, News seems to be very thin on the ground this year.

Yeh last year on the cricket pitch was pretty cool with those deck chairs and sand!

Also, anyone know what this GP Club bit is all about ?? have they added some "vip" section to the F1 paddock area ?

Looks that way, it appears they have made a new F1 pitlane near the paddock and this is sandwhiched in between the track and that. Still think its overpriced though, think its about £800 on the sunday so to break it down:

Ticket - £60
Programme £12
closer parking worth £10 maybe?
Breakfast £10
Lunch £80 (if its good)
Good afternoon tea £30

Total £202

So I need to drink £600 in booze.......

Also, no mention of the Red Arrows this year. They must surely be coming, I can't remember a time, since 1997 anyway, that they haven't appeared.

Can't imagine there will be too many takers for that! they are stupid if they mess around with the format and the f1 paddock too much, thats the reason so many people attend to get close to the F1 cars..
