At the risk of undue pedantry, your great great grandfather cannot be anything but four times removed.

Anyway it'll do you no good, these things aren't genetic. My great grandaunt was UK Egg & Spoon champion but I'm allergic to them. (Knives and forks are no problem thankfully).

As you say, the balance and weight distribution are critical, I'm not going to reveal any of my data on the various boots, needless to say I'll have my full 3D data collection equipment with me for a quick pre wang scan.

Also about technique I was out practicing yesterday and found throwing it like a discuss ended with the best results, is this allowed?

I'm surprised and somewhat shocked that a persoin might think it acceptable to wang in a discus fashion.

When selecting a heavyweight welly this produced the best result. I guess I've got to hope for a lightweight Dunlop to conform what is classed as socially acceptable.

I've never heard of a BYOW event, as far as I know all calibrated wellies for competition are provided by the British Association of Welly Wang Promoters.

Thank you kindly for your clarification - I have heard too many horror stories of non-BAWWP wellies being used. I'm pleased that Lord March obviously loves a good wang in his spare time.

I find 65% Humidity to be ideal; much above 70 and the boot starts to perspire.
