If this is the hotel made out of 40ft shipping containers, we used it on the IoM at the TT this year, excellent for two, very cramped for three big guys with all their motorcycling gear. 5 rooms in 40ft. Luckily the door opens outwards.

It would be fair to say it is almost 5* as it is excellent quality altho small. Double bed with single over, small storage space plus under d/bed, flat screen tv, wet room, shower, basin and loo. Serviced every day.

BUT quite expensive, £195/day at the TT but shared between 2 or 3, reasonable. Walk to the track of course, at the TT the pits etc were no more than 50yds away.

We enjoyed the experience, and would do it again, but not at Goodwood as I only live 12 miles away.

I think you are referring to Safari tented accommodation rather than containers and pricing is about 5 X that referenced above. Having said that the set-up is great with a bar and other facilities including shuttles (Audi's last year) back and forth to the event. Well worth doing.

I heard some atrocious reviews after the wash-out Revival last year; flooded tents full of mosquitos etc etc.

I suspect on a warm and sunny weekend it'd be fantastic.

The "Pop-Up Hotel" company that were at last years Revival are not doing it this year. It's now a company called Yurtel:
