Peter Saywell holds these events a few times a year.
I believe Mr Saywell hires the course and the money drivers pay for their laps goes to charity. Something like that.

The Saywell car collection is stunning, Zonda Special, Koenigsegg, various Ferraris, bright orange Bentley (!) and there are always some very nice cars both in the paddock and out on the track. A couple of the new Noble M600's were out today and they were pretty special.

I went today with my little lad and broke my Goodwood cherry. Awesome is the word. The sight and sound of Peters Zonda at full chat was something to behold.

In fact I asked a guy who was letting people sit in a 458 Italia if he owned the car and would it be ok if I sat in it. He replied 'sure, but it's not mine, Peter owns most of these cars and he has a load more besides'

Holy crap!!!!

Brilliant day.

Judging from the lack of people, looks like you got there early!

I got up there about 8:45am and left about 12:15pm. There were a lot of people up there when I left.
