I joined back in 2006 I think it was about 400 quid for the membership (plus that year's Subs). I don't know how much it would be now. You only pay the bigger amount once. The subs are currently about 160 a year.jgoodwood said:

Fingers crossed.. The waiting list is certainly growing faster than ever since we announced the new Members' Meeting on Friday... Anyone thinking they might like to join better be quick otherwise the wait will be MUCH longer than it is now... hopefully from our chat at the beginning of this year with yourself J I should get my invitation to join soon J

Well I'm hooping I'm in this year so I can attend. I know when I popped in to the track to get FOS tickets back in June they were asking if I was a member as I had a membership number on my account, but I guess that's formalities for the waiting list?
We used to assign a GRRC number to everyone who joined the waiting list.. Don't do that any more as the numbers were getting too high. I think I remember saying that was looking good for you next yr but we can never guarantee anything as we never know how many current members will decide not to renew.. My guess is that it will be less than usual next year because of the members meeting. J

Sure.. First of all you need to be more positive and ask how far up the list you are rather than how far down.. Send an email to grrc@goodwood.com and the lovely Kate will let you know ow you're getting on..Is there anyway of finding out how far down the list I am?

Six digit GRRC numbers?! J
When it was first set up I was offered membership due to being a member of Goodwood Supporters Association who were lobbying for racing to be allowed.
I think it was about £50 at that time, but I couldn't see the advantage*, based on what I was able to attend due to small children, so didn't join
. Also due to small kids I didn't have £50!
