Sadly couldn't make it, but this year they are streaming the event live, so can watch and not get soaked.

GT40 qualifying just finished. Heard somebody comment that a lot of them are continuation cars. So much for originality.

Been watching this all morning - addictive!

Loved the close-ups of the "modified" GT40 suspension just before quali. (disconnected the anti-roll bar and used to tie-wraps to hold the links off the ground).

Look out for awesome video clips on the Goodwood YouTube channel too. The FortyOneSix crew have just uploaded an epic in-car with Kenny Brack in the GT40 in the wet. Unmissable!

Watching it at the moment. The image keeps freezing every few seconds. Is there anything I can do to stop this.

I have the same problem Eric. I'm in London on Virgin cable. I'm just about to try to get the you tube stream on my TV.

Don't have the TV option. I tried changing the resolution to see if it smoothed out at lower res but it makes no difference. It's a real shame as it is great that they are putting it on the internet.

It was shown live on Meridian TV back in 1998.

Hmm. I can't get the stream to work on my TV even though other Goodwood recorded videos are working. Oh well.

Someone suggested on the youtube comments section that if you "backdate" the stream by about 1 minute, the feed comes through without any jerking.

It's working for me a lot better now.

Stream is hiccuping for me too. I think PH has broken the interweb following incitement from Lord March.

Backdate by 1 minute and it's fine.

What time do things get started today? The stream isn't working for me at the moment.

It's been going since about 9.00 am. Google "youtube goodwood live" and you should get the channel up and running. Watch it slightly time delayed rather than live as that will smooth out any buffering problems.

Eric's tip of retarding the stream by a minute or so clears up the jerking completely.

Yes - that was pretty epic. Having been round the track recently in heavy rain on semi-slicks...BIG RESPECT to them all...

This live streaming has been excellent!
