The 72nd Members' Meeting - March 2014
Discussion
Well done to GRRC/Lord March who appear to have created another truly special event, which will ape The Revival in many ways but provide something more unique, smaller, bespoke and private without the intrusion of the general public.
Echoing the Brooklands spirit of "The Right Crowd And No Crowding" of like-minded friends...I'm in!
I'd been wondering about my GRRC membership for a while now, feel that Breakfast Clubs are not the same; but this new event, purely for members, will make the membership feel special again. My only concern will be the weather and temperature of a late March (29-30) event.
Looking forward to more info...and for those of you who are GRRC members and haven't seen their post today, a treat awaits you when you get home tonight.
Bravo Goodwood!

I booked the Fox Goes Free pub in Charlton, paid a deposit and then they phone 10 mins later saying someone had booked all the rooms via the internet. Plus, when they found out it was a Goodwood event the price shot up to £125pn. So, I booked the Premier Inn for half the price - fk them, last time I ever go to that pub.

That's not good. Disappointing.Edited by ewolg on Friday 13th September 15:06
I just booked a hotel for the Friday and Saturday via Booking.com just on the A27 in Arundel, <£200 all in including breakfast. You can do it for <£130 if you pay now and don't want breakfast included.

I can always cancel it if I decide against attending, but why would I, sounds great.
Just got to persuade the Mrs as its a double room!

I'm going to do the down and back from Southampton to Goodwood by train. It's worked brilliantly during the F.O.S. and Revival. Here: http://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/united-kingdom/hi...
