I noticed a few people dotted around the track taking photos on Saturday. If it's anyone here, please do post some pics (particularly of Mrs. SS's shopping trolley getting a bit of a pasting).

Like wise, any of that crazy idiot (me) in the white Audi W12 would be great.

Cheers

There should have been a prize for most unsuitable car of the day. There was some stiff competition for that award! It really was a joy to see such a variety of stuff being thrashed.

I thought the Alfa performed rather well I have to say.... Good to see you managed to turn the day around after having to leave the Maserati at home

Noise tests are extremely annoying. At least someone warned me in advance - I did feel sorry for the lady who turned up in her Elise in the moring and was not allowed on track.

The little Alfa was a bit of a revelation. It coped way better than I expected, particulalrly in the dry. It was a bit of a handful once the track got very wet. The big Audi was hardly hanging about. I imagine the handling was a bit interesting with a W12 over the front axle!

There are a few, slightly dodgy, ones on the GRRC facebook page - https://en-gb.facebook.com/TheGRRC

I think the Supercharged RR takes the most unsuitable biscuit!

Sorry to hear in rained in the afternoon (snigger...), I had a great morning in my Lotus!

Thanks - found a grainy shot of the Alfa on there. The Alvis looked a bit incongruous, too, but it was being driven with such verve that it should have got a prize!

Yeah - I reckon he might have been having more fun than any of us... narrow cross plys are obviously the way to go!
