Revival Practice Dates
Discussion
Is it definitely okay to just turn up and watch (obviously without getting in anyone's way!)?
Reason I ask is that the father-in-law is with us next week (having flown over from New Zealand) but has to return before the revival itself. I'm going to the main event, but would love to show him the circuit & some stunning cars beforehand.
We'd be coming down from Harpenden (Herts), so ideally would want to be sure that we wouldn't be turned away at the gate...
Any advice would be hugely appreciated!
Cheers
Joe

You'll be fine. Go - in this weather it'll be a lovely day out. I was there yesterday and there was a private revival test day going on - some fabulous cars - including the CKL E2A and a D Type, plus a GT40.Reason I ask is that the father-in-law is with us next week (having flown over from New Zealand) but has to return before the revival itself. Not that much going on today. Went on the bike so parking no problem.
Did meet a chap who had a 205GTI, got talking. Transpires his old 250SWB is racing at the revival. He bought it for £1700 in the early 70's and sold it a few years later for £6k! Worth now in the millions.

The SWB owner is a friend, Laurence, a fellow Europa owner and used to race his AC Ace there back in the day.
