For Saturday I'd suggest from Horsham pick up the A24 heading down towards Worthing. Turn off at the Washington roundabout, head through Storrington (A283) and head towards Amberley which will then drop you down onto the A29, follow for a couple of miles to then pick up the A27 just slightly east of the Fontwell Park roundabout. You’ll probably pick up sign for the FOS once you get through Storrington I’d assume.
As a professional driver( a chauffeur )....based in and around Goodwood. My best advice to you is set out early. Why leave late and then sit in miles of traffic? ask yourself why you are going? why miss half the day? When you get to Tangmere look for the fly over, exit there...and then follow the signs for Public "P" areas..
I am going too (SAT) as a punter. But I only live 1.5 m from the car parking areas.
But i will still get up there early. To avoid all you "laties"
Think of me on the Thursday,Friday and Sunday driving into and out of FOS with snobby clients pretending they are "Petrolheads"
When they ask me what my personal car is....I tell them 6.2 V8 520hp, 0-60 4.2 sec. That normally shuts them up.....but the customer is always right....they pay my wages. GOD BLESS THEM.
