I'm on the verge of clicking "checkout now" for a pair of FoS tickets for me & the girlfriend with Supercar parking but I'm trying to find out if dogs are allowed at the FoS, (they are at the Breakfast Club), as this may be a pain if we can't take him so any advice is welcome.

Also, what are the chances of finding some ground space for a picnic whilst there? Is it like music festivals where you need to pretty much be 5 miles away from the action or is there plenty of space not in use reasonably close. Failing that, I'll sit by the car smile

Hi,

Picnics are no problem at FoS, just make sure everything is plastic, not glass. You can buy a hamper from the Goodwood site & pick it up on the day to save any extra hassle. Try a take a bag rather than a hamper though as the site is huge & you'll be sick & tired of carrying a hamper!!
There's loads of space to sit, head for the cricket pitch as that's where bands tend to play etc, & you should still get a view of the big screens so you won't need to miss any of the action!!

On the back of the tickets it says, "WITH THE EXCEPTION OF GUIDE DOGS ALL ANIMALS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED FROM THE VENUE AND CAR PARKS"

What you need is a disguise. No one will ever know...

Ha! Thanks for the info, not having any actual tickets yet I can't read what it says. Might take a white stick and get the dog to wear the hi-vis vest left over from Le Mans last year. (Stupid French laws).

Quite honestly, FOS is such a madhouse, it'd be hideous for a dog even if they weren't banned. FOS is a Motorsport event, Breakfast club not.
