Does any other GRRC member have any trouble logging into the site ? It's either down, or if I do log in it takes me to my account page and I can go no further. On the rare occasions I do access it, I find it a shambolic site.

Is it just me?

I've had similar problems and eventually gave up with it

Bumpity bump chaps - fortyonesix.com seems to be working pretty good at the moment. Still a bit of a dog's dinner to navigate (n.b. website designer, less is more!)but it's running. Worth a butchers!

I do struggle with the purpose of this website, there seems to be a lack of 'social' in the social side, and not much content in the news part.

When it was the GRRC forum it was quite a busy place, but with the change to the very un-userfriendly interface coupled with all the log in problems, most people just lost interest I think.
Agree with you though, can't seem to find the focus of it.

Fortyonesix has been down since late yesterday evening. I'm guessing as a result of the competition posted on Facebook - to win tickets to see "Rush" for anyone making a post - that the site couldn't handle the traffic.

Very irritating as I spent a good hour trying to make replies to various topics all of which failed.

Agreed, overloaded - mind you, at either £75 or £95 a ticket to see the movie, no wonder. Think I will wait for general release.

Hi Ian. It was indeed a right nuisance - I was trying to log in so I could correct a typo on one of our homepage articles...

Not our fault this time though. (Honest!)

We are starting to get a fair bit more traffic (aside from the RUSH competition), but the issue you refer to was with the bit of the cloud we're renting. Other sites had outages too.

(Not that we don't have plenty of issues of our own, as you know!)

Thanks for the update. It seems to be behaving itself again now (as much as it ever does!) and lets hope many of the new users stick around.
