To be precise a dedicated race for them - The Whitsun Trophy

They've been careful not to say which day it will be.....anyone have more info ?

Should be totally awesome whichever day

It does not matter which day it is.
It will be won by Adrian Newey in his "special" GT40 after many hours spent on the Red Bull simulator perfecting his lines!

If it follows the same style as the previous one-make races at Revival then a number of iconic GT40 drivers will be paired with excellent machines. I'd expect it to be a 2-driver race too. The 70's took a great toll of GT40 stars but I'm hoping they can persuade Chris Amon over from NZ, even for a demo (and make him tribute driver of the meeting). Ickx, Oliver, Hobbs, Redman (all JW Automotive team) should be involved. Sad that many of the great contemporary GT40 drivers are no longer with us - Hailwood and Hawkins in particular.

not really fair.. If he wins, people say 'it's the car' if he looses, the same people will 'he's rubbish - can't even win with x,y,z done to his car'..

Many will have forgotten that he was lapping pretty much identical times as Brundle in his e-type at Revival last year - and (i'm 99% sure) he set fastest lap in the race as well as recording the pole time.. He clearly has some driving skills..

I think it's taken a while for him to get there but he's now very quick. I understand his accident in the GT40 at Classic Le Mans was simply a case of running out of talent. I've got a recollection of him smashing his E-Type up at Fordwater in about 2005 as well. Last year in the TT he drove beautifully.

If Glasel and Bellm are out in this race then I wouldn't stake my house on Newey running away with it. Interesting to see 250LMs are back in the TT - I assume as a reaction to the change in the Whitsun Trophy this year?

You will notice that the very top drivers do not get invited to the Revival when there is a 50th Celebration or similar.
Remember the Cobra's, anyone notice that top pairing of Simon Hadfield and Leo V.were nowhere to be seen on the entry list?

I'm positive that Brack, Hill, Reid, Stretton, the Bryants and the Halls would be described as 'top drivers' when you set Hadfield as a bench mark (Leo V not really being in the same category imho.)
SH seems to have enough drives in the Whitsun Trophy (in the Genie last year) for 'conspiracy theory' to be ignored. It's up to the car owners whether they want pro A or pro B in their precious toys, surely.
