We spent all of Friday walking round looking at the paddock and displays, today we spent watching the racing on the banking at Madgewick, from the Silver Arrows to the aviation concours, the air displays and 'Over the road', I thought it was fab. The best ever (I've been to all of them).

Brill!!

The races weren't quite so electric or memorable though.

I'm thinking Sheene/Gardner & maybe when Brundle was dicing in A35 for the lead a couple of years ago. (to name but a couple of real classics)

Really?

Last night's race into dusk, the big banger Lola/McLaren dicing this afternoon and the formula junior in the last race today we're fab.

Guess you didn't see the bike race on Saturday then?! Baywatch Brogan/McWilliams was one of the most spectacular old bike races I've ever seen!

I've been to (almost) all of them, and really enjoyed the event this year.

It is busy, and it's not cheap, but having been to many car events (in the UK and abroad) the Revival is still one of the very best. Strolling through the tax exempt car park in the evening sunshine with Spitfires overhead was just fantastic.

Best car thing I've ever been to. Being a big girls blouse, I was so overwhelmed at one point I almost wept. It's the first Revival I've been to, it won't be the last.

I think it has to be close. The racing late on Saturday was simply stunning stuff. Whitsun trophy and chichester cup - brilliant. Nothing disappointed and all helped by (mostly) decent weather..

Best revival I've been to. Stand out points:

spitfire and mustang flying in close formation

Standing next to an auto union silver arrow as the engineer adjusted the fuel mix meaning a continual revving of that beautiful engine for 5 mins

The start of the pre war race and subsequent passings of every ERA on the track

The start of the shelby cup

Joyous!

I went last year and was hooked, so had to go again this year, one of the best days out of the year!

When the Mustang is in a dive, and the wind whistles through the machine gun apertures...

...that just makes the hair stand up on my neck
