I have been lots of times and seen the pre-1960's/old cars in a "special" car park. Is the entry just with a pre 66 car? or do you need an additional car park badge/pass ?

For the first time I will go in a pre 66 car and would be nice to park in the "old" car park. Anyone know please?

Didn't they change it to a tax-exempt car park, so it'll be open to pre '73 cars? smile

You do need to register you car details, model type and registration and they will send you a window entry sticker. You could spend hours looking round the car park, full of interesting stuff.

You get a pass when you buy your ticket, not when you arrive. You may be able to blag your way in but I think the marshals look at which windscreen sticker you have, not what year the car is.

Last year I went at about 12.30 on Sunday and followed the pre-1966 signs in my 1962 Facel, a car not instantly recognisable to the average car park marshal. I didn't have any kind of label, but was directed at every stage into the pre-1966 car park without conversation, so you can get lucky - but don't rely on it.
