Next one is thoroughbred Sunday. I might be being a bit dim but what do they mean by thoroughbred. E.g. Is my caterham a thoroughbred of some sort?

Like I said sorry for being dim.

Cheers

Not totally dim, I would say the definition of a thoroughbred car is open to discussion and the guys on the gate will no doubt have their own idea!

Not dim... Just a bit lazy. All the info is on the Goodwood www.

Thoroughbred Sunday

Celebrating the golden era of Goodwood Motor Circuit with pre-1966 classics, with a special emphasis on cars that celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2012, including the Ferrari 250 GTO, AC Cobra, Lotus Elan, MGB, Triumph Spitfire, Rover 2000, etc.

Should be a good one. Let's hope it's not got to be a wellie and umbrella festival

IMHO Thoroughbred or Pur Sang - "Pure Blood" (as Bugatti called it) - indicates that the car's body and all major components were made by the same manufacturer.

So that would rule out Cobras, but include Minis! biggrin

Couldn't you come in the Can-Am if its not?

I will probably head down, might do a later one rather than an early from Guildford.
