Anyone know the post code for the carpark at GFOS? I know its a field, but I'm pretty sure there is a house/farm or something on the approach road.

Don't use sat nav... Just follow the signs as soon as you see them.. Otherwise you will have a nightmare!

Last time we ended up at the start line entrance!

I don't want to cock it up again smile

First time this year. Just Google Map'd the postcode above and coincidentally it looks like the Street Map car must have been passing around FOS time! (Temporary road signs up etc)

I assume the gate with the chequered flag next to it is the car park entrance?

Yes it is, there's entrances on both ends of the road and it's a big car park so you'll want to remember where you parked your car as it'll take a while to find it, as I found out last year!

There's an app for that ;-). Worth downloading before you set off! If you have a grey Audi it's a life saver. Obviously not so much of an issue for those with lime green Exiges.

This.

I normally have a knack for remembering where our car is, without needing to think about it. Been fine for all the previous years, then last year I just had a sudden realisation that i didn't know if I was even close, or which side of the track it was. Its ony then you realise just how many cars there are (especially if you have a silver mondeo)

Took us about an hour to find it frown

Not what you want after being on your feet all day.

I always take a photo on my mobile of the row number/section/gate however they mark it. I'm very good at remembering, but got a lift with a friend one year and as I wasn't driving I didn't give it a second thought, unfortunatly neither did she banghead
