Room available near Goodwood for FoS

The B&B I stay in has an unexpected room available for the Sat or Sunday of Festival of Speed. It is in the charming village of Charlton a stones through from The Fox Goes Free and 3 miles from FoS car parks. PM me and I will send you the phone no. Stephen

Not for a second trying to get this thread deleted, can I ask why mine,which overtly advertised my Dads B & B was removed on the basis that advertising was not permitted on the forums...?

The only reason I decided to start it was because I had seen this thread, started days earlier, hadn't been removed...

From what I read the OP doesn't have any association with the "business" your post on the other hand did, and as you were told in the deletion mail you are not allowed to advertise in the forums.

Frankly no. It doesn't explain much;

1. Where's the other message in this thread advertising a room suddenly gone Al? Hence my post in this thread...
2. So if I had said "I am aware of a B&B which has availability...." as opposed to......
" My Dad....." I would have been ok? And the thread wouldn't have been deleted? For all you've "read" the OP could well be the proprietor of the business...
3. Regardless of the OPs association with the business how is this NOT STILL advertising ?


Despite the crime I have committed, I was offering very well priced accommodation for PHers for the FoS.
I suggested to my Dad that I would post on PH as a result of seeing in previous years, much demand for local rooms.

I might be advertising, which I have never denied, but try finding what I was offering ONLY on PH for that sort of money

I consider my wrists severly slapped
