I think Nick is being facecious and that soft top sunday should be on a day when sun is more likely ie summer not autumn. Better hope for an indian summer hadn't we! Thinking about it though last years october meet was everything but the car and that was actually not a bad day for the bikes.

... or perhaps it has something to do with the cold foggy day in March last year that the last Soft Top Sunday was on. I thought we would be owed a hot summer one for taking one for the team; it was also Mothers Day!!!V8 FOU said:
Booked the Esprit for 6th May supercar sunday and the ford truck for everything etc. Might get the Esprit on the grid this year. Funny how they always tell me to "take it easy" through the tunnel on the way out. Couldn't resist flooring it last time in the Alpine!
We just want people to be safe.. Next time you drive through, go slowly and you'll spot the various beautiful colours of paint from all the cars that 'Couldn't resist flooring it' and lost control on a wet patch and bounced off the walls... Ultimately your choice though...jgoodwood said:

EEEK!Point taken. Just a tickle of the throttle next time.
I would like to add that as a member of the GRRC and many time visitor to the FoS and Revival, track days etc, how great all the Goodwood people are. No officiousness (is that a word?) always pleasant. And having recently become disabled, how you all make it so easy. Well done March and all his staff!

Try dipping the clutch and revving... much safer... I didn't say that though...Point taken. Just a tickle of the throttle next time.
