I have entry tickets to the event, but looking at the weather will now take the E Type but can't get a car park ticket in time, any helpers put one on line?

TIA

to be honest ithink if you turn up in the e type they may well let you into the classic car park, they did that to my friend in his 58 corvette two years ago

Hi - I now have a 'forward parking' slip. The slip says it is valid/guaranteed until 9am.

Anyone know what benefit this slip brings? What is 'forward parking' given that all parking is free anyway? And does the 9am slot mean that after this they do not guarantee a place??

thanks.

Get there before 9am or you won't be able to park v v close to the entry point - the forard parking means if you arrive before 9am they'll direct you to the special 'close to the entrance' point - for GRRC members (it's not like the FoS - I'm a GRRC member and rocked up at 11am this year, and I parked right next to the entrance gate! Revival not as easy....)

Not sure what the staff guideline is but in our experience f they like the car and there is space you'll be waved through. Three years ago we were waved right to the front in the Tuscan at about 10am on Saturday. Good luck

The traffic to get in following the signs is quite frankly a joke.

Hi
Thanks all for the various info, I arrived at Goodwood at 05:40 and suprisingly was first there!. Parked in tax free car park B right at the entrance to the event, no parking passes and not a member of GRRC.

Excellent day a trio of spitfires in formation, blue skies and e types racing their door handles off. Could it be better?

For those going tomorrow and Sunday, take an umbrella and 2 for Sunday

Regards
