Guys, apologies in advance for the mini rant but have you not read your mailings? They are sent via email and by post and contain loads of information about the event.. We don't spend tens of thousands of pounds and many hours compiling the information each year writing to you all for our benefit! Seriously - please read them.
Close to 90% of all negative feedback from members could be completely wiped out if the mailings are read before the event. If, for any reason, yo have not received them, they are available to download from the members download area of the website once you have logged in. Please check you inboxes and let us know if you're not receiving the emails and we can check we have the correct address for you.
There is not a members car park but you can park at the front of either B, C or D with your 2011 windscreen sticker on display.
Cheers,
J

Is there any this year? I know in 2009 there was (I think) in what I'd guess to be carpark D this year. Same place again? Do we just wave our badges and argue with the martial as usual?
Are you actually a member of GRRC? If so you'll know there has been forward parking at all the car parks every year for both Revival AND FOS, you'll know you don't "wave" a badge as you have a coloured windscreen sticker which the marshalls can see, and why on earth would you argue with any of them? Unless.....ThatPhilBrettGuy said:
I must have missed that info somewhere in the emails then, sorry. Out of interest can you remember which newsletter that was in?
You could spend tens of pounds having an area for GRRC members that details this as well, organised by event to save searching and questions like this
It was in the last mailing. There is already an area on the website where you can download this information. You could spend tens of pounds having an area for GRRC members that details this as well, organised by event to save searching and questions like this

I argue with them when they send you backwards and forwards between gates because they have no idea where the smaller car-parks are. All the way to the junction (queued for 30 minutes) to the point I thought I had to turn into (my fault, fine). Got told to turn around and go back (fine). Got to the other end of the queue and was then told in no uncertain terms it was back the way I had come.
So, unless what exactly?

I think the problem is that as the newsletters are pdf's the search didn't pick out the relavent one.

Must say although getting out is always a bit of a scrum - not due to the marshals but because knobs (usually in Range Rovers) who think queues are not for them - I have never had cause to argue with any marshals on the way in.
We always hang around at the end to miss all that. Plenty to see and much nicer than fuming in a car!Yes, generally getting in is fine but this year to the east of the site went very wrong. I wasn't the only one. He was pointing and shouting at 3 other cars in front of me. They looked as bemused as us.
