Just checking - do people bother trying to flog fake tickets?

May have chance to go on Sunday but it will be a fairly last minute thing so would be better if a good deal could be done on the ticket price but not if its a bit moody!
Anyone come across this sort of thing?

Sadly yes they do but now that we electronically check all barcodes upon entry - they won't work! Should help to stop the buggers from cheating people out of their hard-earned..

So is there any official objection to reselling of tickets - there are currently plenty on ebay.
Any obvious way of checking this barcode?

It does state on the ticket that they are non-transferable. We can check the barcode but only on entry - when it may be too late.

Why would that stop them?

Surely that only inconveniences the people who bought the tickets in good faith?

Are not all tickets you buy non transferable?
Ticketmaster are to blame, as usually you can buy tickets to events from them before they go on general release.
Then it would seem that you can then buy them at 4 to 6 times the face cost!
