A nice hotel for after the event...
Discussion
Hi all, we're going down for the full Revival package again this year, Fri, Sat and Sun plus grandstand and a travelodge at Liphook etc.
We're thinking of staying down for a couple of days afterwards though. Can anyone recommend a nice place to stay in the area, or on the coast nearby? Price isn't too important, but somewhere special would be good.
Taeverso.

This is nice if you're not worried about the price.

+1. Beach only 1 minute away, Arundel 10 minutes, Chichester 20 minutes. Perfect (and romantic!).http://www.hshotels.co.uk/hotels/bailiffscourt.html

The Angel Hotel in Midhurst, the Swan pub in Fittleworth, the Horse Guards in Tillington, the Angel in Petworth, the old railway station in Petworth, the Fox goes Free in Charlton, all worth a look. My wife used to work at Bailiffs Court, it is a bit pricey but good as is Amberley Castle. Hope this helps
Ok, south of Chichester, 10 minutes to the beaches:

Depends on what you want but we always rent two of these cottages:We're thinking of staying down for a couple of days afterwards though. Can anyone recommend a nice place to stay in the area, or on the coast nearby? Price isn't too important, but somewhere special would be good.

We'll be departing on Monday morning but they're ours for the rest of that week. If you're interested let me know and I'll put you in touch with the individual who has dealt with the accommodation this year. I'm sure that for a suitable contribution they could be yours. There is also an excellent pub about a 20 minute walk away:

Thanks for these suggestions guys.
Skier, there wouldn't be a cottage available on the Sunday night, would there?
Certainly not either of those we've booked but it may be worth a call to the owner to see if anyone in either of the other two is checking out on the Sunday.Skier, there wouldn't be a cottage available on the Sunday night, would there?
