Hi folks,

I was booking the campsite for the family for my dad last month and all was okay, apart from the £150 asking price!!

Anyway, he then asked if pets are allowed on the campsite as he is going down with mum in the VW camper\transporter and me and the good lady are meeting them at Luton when we fly down.

So they are taking the dog with them (westie) as they are staying in windemere first.

However i had a look into the revival website and found that pets are not allowed in the event (obvious) however it says dogs shouldn't be left in the campsite, but it doesnt say if they are not allowed even in the place.

This is a bit of a pain as this would have been handy info to have while booking, not a month after the fact.

Does anyone know if dogs have been allowed in the campsite previously?

As thismay mean dad has to cancel the campsite and try to get his cash back and find alternative camping arrangements at this late hour will be fun and games.

Cheers guys any help welcome.

if i was you i would leave the dogs at home as i dont think they are allowed, either way you cant have them in the revival, sorry if its not that helpful but i have been going to the revival for quite a few years and have never seen someone with animals in or around goodwood.

Correct, guide dogs only in the motor circuit.

Don't know about the campsite but hopefully he was not planning to leave the dog in the camper-van all day......??

we worked out a plan, folks are going to Inverness doing a bit of sightseeing for a few days with dog, then leave dog with family friend before trip.

No dog wouldn't have been left all day in vam it would have been out in campsite for walks peridocically plenty of water and windows open and one of us would have checked on him every 30 mins or so, but if it was really sunny we would have had someone with him all day so he could have sat outside smile

We dont leave the dog in the car smile

But its all sorted now
