Good luck, I must admit, it also isn't my favourite breakfast club of the year, it is great to see so many supercars, but I find, when there are so many, they start to lose their visual impact, these days seeing a bright green supercar in isolation amongst the sea of black / white / grey boxes that most of us drive on a daily basis is a flash of something out of the ordinary, when there are rows and rows of them, not so much.

We are going, and I can guarantee my young lad will not be touching / sitting on, or otherwise getting his paw prints on anyone's car, that instruction seems to bypass lots of other kids, perhaps that is what 'cliffords' is referring to, the people who seem to think it's OK to do what they want to others property ?, I've even seen people trying to open doors and been challenged by the owners.

Some proper dregs will turn up. Worst one they run. I'm happily swerving it and will go for a drive on the other side of the county.

Two good ones to come later - one which the scummers can't attend and one which won't attract them.

I am going on Sunday but with the knowledge that there will be a fair degree of tttage going on,

With all the idiots hanging around outside the entrance to the circuit plus the other ones down by the roundabout, I am waiting for the accident.
One of these days, an idiot in a knackered old M3 or S3 is going to have a massive smash and spear off into one of these groups of influencers while trying to prove that his £5000 cat s rebuild with its turbo wanged up to 11 is just as quick as "all them Ferraris and Lambos, innt bruv" And that will be that.

Best enjoy it while you can,

I’d have thought Goodwood will kill it before it happens. Remember when it used to be once a month and Pistonheads in December?

I’ll be Marshalling also. Always an interesting event in many ways.
Just as a matter of interest, were you one of the two marshals operating the "stop/go" boards on the pedestrian crossing outside the main entrance for the last Breakfast Club?

If you were well done because the comedy routine about who had the working radio was brilliant, straight out of Pete & Dud! hehe

No Tony and me tend to be in the paddocks or out on the circuit - just waiting for the job allocations to come out from the Circuit Office. - But I will pass the feedback on to the team!

Thought it was quite calm today for SS, normal pop and bang crew cars leaving, nice to see the P1 / F1 arriving at the JYS pavilion, then seeing some of the cars cruising along Bogor sea front later in the day, let’s hope for the same weather for the GRRC one later this month.

Yes, I agree..... relatively sensible for Supercar Sunday and some lovely machinery in attendance, though I very quickly got Porsched-out!!!

Great to see an LFA again, two Valkyries (both in attractive liveries - I seen a few with, to me, very uninspiring colour schemes), several Koenigseggs, and some nice 'left field, cars.

Best registration plate of the day:

Greta was popular...

F1 JOY was wonderful - stone chips to the front of the car showing it is driven and presumably enjoyed.

I thought it was one of the best Breakfast club events I’ve been to in along time. Seeing the usual hyper cars new and old is a treat but the star of the show for me was the Ferrari 275 Nart spyder getting very little love compared to the other cars - not one of the original Nart cars but owned by Miles Davies no less very special.

Cool glad it was a good one.
I dodged it after not enjoying the crowd at last years one.

....oh, and I thought both the organisation and (especially!) the Marshalling was excellent.

It was an enjoyable morning, Impressive cars, lovely driving conditions and my son loved it.

Call me an out-of-touch fuddy duddy but how do these 20 and 30-something guys afford hypercars? Are they earning millions from social media? Or is there some sort of specialist car finance package that I don't understand? When I was 30 I thought I had made it big by driving a £25k Bimmer! These guys are living the dream.

Agree it was a good morning. Clear drive down and I enjoyed futile attempts to keep pace with 2 GT3 RS I met along the way. I left abit early but fortunately ended up having a front row seat as the Dukes convoy came past.

As far as crashes go I did see somebody had binned their Maserati SUV at a roundabout on the A29 on my way down but may have been unrelated to Goodwood. Full airbag deployment, front completely caved in, police were already there when I drove past.

Was there any appreciation from McLaren owners that it was the anniversary of Bruce's death at that very circuit? They could certainly be forgiven for not knowing, but it would have been nice if it had been commemorated, given the number of cars bearing his name which were probably there(I wasn't).

I was there with my bro, amazing sunny day and a fun drive there and back, first time this year really stretching the Corvette's legs.

Fairly sure I saw that Valkyrie pulled over on the A3 just after Guildford by the cops, I imagine that's a pretty annoying end to his morning.

Certainly lots of cars bearing Bruce's name, but no acknowledgement of the anniversary of his death that I saw.

He probably wasn't committing any offence either, the owners of those cars know the score when it comes to driving one of those after a widely publicised car event. He was probably also used to being pulled over by the old bill as usually with cars like that they may well be registered to a company and the officers probably wanted to 'check' who was driving. I have a friend who used to work for one of the high end manufacturers and if he was driving one registered to the company he was quite used to being pulled over for a check, especially if it was late in the evening.

First question, "Who you got in the back then?".... rolleyes

Anyway back to the topic at hand.

Thought it was quite a good one, as other people have commented I thought it was slightly better organised than the last few. Couldn't really see why it was a "Super Sunday" though? Just seemed to be pretty much like a normal Supercar Sunday to me. confused

Even with all the hypercars, I thought one of the nicest cars was a blue F355 convertible. Manual, the sand leather, about half the size of any of the current Ferrari range and clearly loved, I just thought these days with everything going on, would I need anything else than that? I guess when the lottery numbers come in we'll find out. wink Shame I missed the Ferrari NART, would loved take a good look around that. If cars could talk, I bet that one would have had some pretty bonkers stories.

My first instinct was that I'd have been surprised if he'd been driving like an idiot in a car like that on a sunny Sunday on a very busy road like that, so what you say would make a lot of sense. Of course we might both be wrong and he was asking for trouble driving like a loon, but I imagine your version of events is more accurate. I must say it was certainly tempting for me to give it some on the way home, but I'm glad I didn't and certainly after seeing him pulled over I put the cruise control on and just enjoyed being in the car on a sunny day for once.

I saw several of the HyperCars, including the grey Valkyrie, driving extremely carefully and sensibly on the road.

We also saw that and was pleased to see the driver standing talking to the policeman, although there was debris and fluids 5 metres before the lampost
