Just wiring up my lights for my rear round light panel conversion (final edition look). It seems all cars have the red/yellow as an outer light and the red/white as the inner light, with yellow being the turn signal and white the reverse. But what comes on as taillight and brake light seems to vary across cars. Some of this may be the difference between US and UK regs, but I think I've seen diff versions on UK cars???

So I'm curious how yours work. I'm also interested to know how the OEM round lights work, taillight-wise and brake-wise, but I'd be particularly interested in anyone with the aftermarket LED lights (I bought mine from Espritperformance), on which each half of the red ring can be illuminated separately. Here's what I have seen...

UK car: For tailights, the halves of all 4 lights come. For brakes, the remaining half of the outer lights come on.
US car: For tailights, both halves of all four lights come one. For brake, half of the outer light is illuminated brighter??

Could someone with the aftermarket LED lights (and even the OEM round lights) let me know what comes on as a taillight and brake light. Thanks!

The inner lens (with the reverse light inside) has to be the rear fog light.
