2002 esprit sport 350 info?

does anyone have an information about a 2002 esprit sport 350? my dealer apparently has a used one and i am planning to swap my '99 v8.

he tells me that there were only 17 of these that came to US. is that true? also, how come it still has the toyota rear lights? (isnt the 2002 supposed to have the new rear). it also doesn't have a limited badge?

is it worth the trade? would appreciate any comments. thanks

I suggest you get the VIN and contact LCU to get the facts. You can also tell from the VIN number the model year by referencing the VIN "legend" listed on www.espritfactfile.com

I don't think that there are any 2002 "sport 350's". All of the 2002's have "Sport 350" specs I believe. I would call LCU... (sounds funny)

Sport 350 model was made in 1999 about 60 numbered (on the dash) that didn't have anything heavy like A/C or airbags, has high carbon fiber wings and has "SPORT 350" text on door in large size. Anything off this partial list is nothing close to a sport 350 and should not be bought as one...of course a non 350 is also a good bet too!!! These facts were told to me by my personal tour guide at Lotus factory while I was shown a 350 on my last trip to England. Hope this helps...
