does anyone know this Esprit.
i am asking because i am actually looking to buy an Esprit V8
and to be honest, this one looks cheap... and i know when things look cheap...
i was wondering if this is, in perhaps best case, a Cat C or Cat D... otherwise i just dont understand that price.

and yes, i know the reputation of the seller....

Will you have to then import it or register it in UK? Will this incur another cost, VAT or car tax perhaps?

Also I thought an 02 car was a V8 and dropped the GT or SE model by then?
Seems a nice enough car if that's all you have to pay. Ring the DVLA and find out more.

I am actually living in Germany and importing is no issue... have done that before with my Cerbera as well.
But the company that is selling the car, bought the esprit in the UK. And there the for sure sell above their buying price... gosh that must have been very cheap... because this price is already low. but i know too cheap does not exist.


I think this is a 2001 build Esprit and perhaps registered in 2002. and guess that that is why GT from 2002.

i am actually wondering what the catch is with this car. to be honest i dont mind repaired cat c or d. as long as repair's were done properly.

Price does look good but it's certainly not an 02 model.

Be wary of the registration date. I remember seeing a 'new' V8 Esprit advertised in Europe a year or two back with delivery milage only.
Having enquired about the chassis no, it turned out to be a 98 model that could have been registered as a 2008 Esprit...
