i am looking for an Esprit V8 i dont mind a CAT C or Cat D registeration as long as the repairs are done properly.

price up to about 15k., colour prefer silver or black...

please let me know if you know someone who would be or who is interested.

i am looking for over half a year and still did not manage to find one, which was not under offer or sold....

Hi there and welcome to forum.

I know of a mint V8 in titanium with everything done on it for £18K. It's a bit more than you want to pay but it's a well sorted Esprit.

It is 2000 my with 54K
2002 rear round light conversion
2002 centre exit exhaust
2002 OZ Nova alloys
New engine replaced by Lotus at 11K
Hi-Spec Monster 6 front calipers
323mm drilled discs and alloy bells
FLSH
S350 ECU
Engine out 2009 to have all oil and water turbo pipes replaced with stainless steel braided hoses
Cambelt replaced last year
Radiator upgraded to triple core
Alloy wastegate actuators
200 cell sports stainless steel cats

This is a well sorted Esprit with light judderless clutch, all the major things that go wrong with V8 done plus one of the nicest sounding exhausts I've ver heard on an Esprit. It's not advertised just yet, so be quick.
Also it benefits from last of line upgrades.

It's not my car that's for sale, I'd want more for mine as it's only done 34K miles. It's a friend's who has the same type and colour.

McRae,

If he said an £18K V8 is out of his budget then I am sure a S350 is way off. Haven't seen the ad myself.

PS. There was a V8 for £13500 on LEW for a few weeks. It went for £12K in the end. Sounds excellent on paper and a bargain but when I looked into it, needed about £6K spending on it and the it would be a sorted but standard V8. Might have been cheaping to fix for someone doing all the work themselves.

Clutch
2nd and 5th have to double declutch, so syncros may need attention
Studs broken on manifold (engine out). So you would add cambelt change and replace oil and water turbo pipes
Radiator will need doing shortly.
