I'm considering an Esprit V8 but I have one question, am I likely to fit in it?

I am 6,3 and 16 stones, however I am also quite long in the back so I probably have a similar sit height to most 6,6 blokes.

If the consensus is that I would fit is there anyone in the Notts-Derby area with an Esprit who would mind letting me sit in it?

wavey 6' 2" but thankfully still quite a few kebabs away from 16 stone, however I've been driving them for over twenty years with no issues. A clicky for you: http://www.lotusespritworld.com/EOtherstuff/TallDr...

Hi there,

Iam 6'-3" and own a V8 for past 5 years with no problems at all. Also owned an carb turb, an S4s and now I have bought a HC turbo. Sadly I can't really fit in the HC turbo but the V8 is fine.
I weight 15st-0lbs but about a year or so ago, weighed 16st-7lbs.

There is a GT owner who lives Burton on Trent who I think would be willing to let you try his car out. He may have the sports seats in which may give you a false reading as comfort seats sit higher and more forward due to their thickness.
If you find you're a little tight when you do try a V8 then it's worth considering a V8 GT with sports seats fitted?

6'4" and it is fine for me with the comfort seats in a GT3. I tend to wear karting boots if going for a long drive to make the pedals easier though.
The most difficult part is getting in and out of the car if something is next to you. With long legs, you need to do a reasonable amount of bending to get in so it helps to be able to get the door open a fair way.
