Hey guys I read on the fact file that all I need to do is remove the obstruction from the head light pod so that it will drain the water out. The only problem is that I cant seem to even remotely see the hole with the headlights up.

Any other way to get to it? Maybe from underneath the car? Can I remove the peice of fiberglass under the front to access it?

Thanks for the help,

Andy! tired of getting sprayed down with water at night

I had the same problem as you with my S4S. All you have to do is pop up the head lights, shine a flash light into the crack just right below the headlight at the front of the pod. You should see the hole which is exactly in the center position. Use a flexible but stiff wire, like a clothes hanger to clean out the hole. Make sure you clean it out really good and then flush it out with clean water.

Depending on which model you have you should find a large rubber bung in the body panel directly underneath the headlight pods. Jack the car up at the front (put it on axle stands of course) and pull this out. If you look directly upwards you can see the hole in the pod (with the lights up). I used one of those tools for picking up screws etc that you drop into tricky places (the one with a "grabber" at the end) and pulled all the muck out with that. It only takes a few minutes and saves poking about blindly from the top. Make sure you put the rubber bung back properly or you may find it falling out on the road!

Hope this helps.
