Why not just drop him a mail and ask?

Looking at how the interior and exterior dont match its possibly a re-build using an earlier chassis that gave the date reference for the final plate?

Barge pole it will be for some, its comparable in quality to £15k cars, has later far more desirable interior and rather a nice lotus plate too to boot so it s great value if you want a 1996 V8 car, fully vosa inspected, and wre happy to use the body tub as registration year and so you getting a V8 car for a considerable saving, enjoy it and ignore the barge pollers, there are those for any car advertised.

was this supposed to read 'registered as a 1997 car,'

'Quote: This is a 1996 car, has 1998 Interior, it is registered as a 1987 car,'

Nope it is correctly listed

Its in the kitcar section for that reason, its correctly described, thats why its on here as weird, that is why its cheap, that is why is will appeal to limited number of people, because of the registration plate i have valved it over and above a £8k car which may or may not then be used as spares.

Ideal track day / second car for someone, concours /spends loads on it its not for them.
