Having seen a repeat of 'The Lotus Esprit' on Discovery RT or wotever, I quite fancy a JPS Limited Edition, wot's the (current) going rate for these?

Gutted I missed that one!

Been half heartidly looking for a mint S1 and perhaps a S2 JPS and completely missed the PH one!

If anyone else knows of a S1 or JPS please drop me a mail smile

One of those in nice condition will cost you a hell of a lot of money for what it is. My tip would be to try to hunt down a decent black S3 Esprit (or even a Turbo because 160 bhp doesn't go far these days) and then add the decals for a few hundred pounds. Matching the wheels would be more of a challenge. You'll end up with a better car which still looks absolutely the business.

Esprit - always buy on Condition above all else. Very expensive to put right once they get tatty.

No that's an S2 and a genuine JPS by the looks of it.

Personal choice but (IMHO) trying to make an S3 look like a JPS car, unless it's done really well, could make it look a bit naff - and WILL probably impact the value of the car you buy.

If you really want a JPS Esprit then wait for one to come available and move quickly on it. They are expensive usually for good reason but it will always so and then at least you will have what you want.

Good luck

This is a stunning example, I love the JPS livery!
