Hello!

Just thought I would say hello as I purchased the following car this morning (anyone know it or previous owners):-

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/831557.htm

I'm very excited, going to be a long 2-3 weeks before I can get down from Edinburgh to collect her!

I am coming from a TVR T350C which was my pride and joy till some idiot drove through a give way and into the side of me a few weeks back, was total gutted (see the following thread and pics):-

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...

I had planned to get a Noble GTO-3 but the styling just didn't do it for me although they are awesome cars. Having loved Lotus's for many years I never thought I would get my hands on a V8 SE, what a car.

Am really missing my TVR but think this Esprit will fill the gap and then some.

I look forward to chatting to you in the near future.

Cheers

Bucks.

Welcome to the forum!

I've just spotted the advert and wondered if it was Rob Baker's old car. It looks like it was afterall. He fitted a racelogic traction control on this car but I am not sure if it's still on the car. There should be a little box on the dash somewhere? Let me know.

I knew Rob a little and met him a few times at meetings.
I too have a very similar car but it has red leather seats and mine's a GT not an SE.
Also I went the whole hog by doing the 03 conversion and putting the front lower spoiler kit on.

My car is on next year's Lotus Esprit World calender July's edition, it's a must for all Esprit owners.

Also I would recommend joining Club LEW or/and becoming a member on here. I have joined both and benefited from both ten times over!

If you ever need any help with your car then email on dave@acsdesign.org

Good to see another one heading North of the Border Bucks. As I mentioned over on LEF, I work in London and do the weekly commute by plane - if you don't fancy the trip South and need someone to pick it up for you.....;-)
