Morning All - as I lad I used to shell written off cars for fun with a mate.

Now I have a little more time on my hands I'm thinking of taking a project on and have recently looked at a badly damaged S4. The car has been hit hard at the front end and this has cracked the shell from off side to nearside just below the windscreen. I'm assuming that I need to start with a new shell - am I correct? Any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there,

Depending on damage, you can replace just front end. If you intend replacing shell then I am just starting to break a V8 1998.
Shame really as I was selling it as a project for £8500. Time has now passed and Iam breaking as the two interested parties have pulled out.
It's had light front end damage with cracks to tops of either front wheel arches, crack between headlight pods and a couple to stiffeners inside front boot.
If you take on the project then there are bound to be parts that you require off my car.

Hi Kylie,

I think a guy from OZ has emailed Adrian via your post for the mirrors or was it NZ? Adrian mentioned it today whilst we were stripping it.
Obviously if you want any parts, I will give you discount!
Can't imagine what you'd need off this car though, your car looks fantastic!
